Merger with TSU

Most of you are probably aware that TSU has requested that we merge with them.
I am requesting that all discussion about this be confined to the appropriate forum in my office and the embassy; there are too many areas to keep track of and keep straight.
So, I am going to straighten out the most common misconceptions right now:
1. If we merged, there would not be a "un-merging when we were strong enough." The lines of who was a Confederate by then and when "is strong enough" would likely not ever allow a peaceful separation. Also, the whole "become one" phrase in the merger would prevent a... legal... separation.
2. You seem to think we would be better protected. Please note the MDP with the TSU... We are ALREADY protected by the TSU.
3. I see a constant "It would make our alliance stronger." Allow me to properly phrase that "It would make THEIR alliance stronger." The TSU would not be our alliance... All it would do is give the TSU some more members, and extinct the Confederacy.
4. You seem to believe that Confederates would prosper and grow faster. Note that our alliance strength has close to doubled in a month. Also, what the heck is CAFS and CCRAFS for?

One thing that is a gray area:
"CAFS would be better and smoother." I'll agree, CAFS will start faster, but otherwise, how could it go better? The system would remain the same.
CAFS will get off to a rocky start here, but that is only the start, and only thanks to the NpO war with \m/...

I am open to discussion, but PLEASE do not fix your head one way or the other.
I just want us to think this out more than y'all do.

I was saying how you broke it to the TSU when we decided to turn them down the first time. This time, with things more established, it had to go through a democratic process. Since when did that not involve speeches and debate? Since when could that be one man's call?

I wouldn`t mind joining TSU because will get better benefits Mr. President and if I`m promised the position of Secretary of Defence of TSU I`ll join TSU alliance.

Lets move today the President of TSU promised me the position of Secretary of Defence if I changed to his alliance and I`m changing today I want my title of my position in our government to be changed to Secretary of Defence on this website. Can we still have our government discussions on this website Mr. President because I like this website and I think we should keep it.

If you are going to be a Southerner with TSU. They have not yet decided if they are moving them. You will have discussions on our forum because they are still CSA

Those are all things I want to sort out BEFORE we have the vote. If there are gray areas, no telling where we'll be in the end.
